Perth SVNS Day One LIVE: Australia prepare to get underway on home soil


The SVNS World Series heads to Perth for the first time ever as 12 men’s and women’s teams converge on HBF Park.

It will be the first time to event is hosted in the west after his successful return in Sydney last year.

The Women’s side enter as the favourites, set to face South Africa (3:28 pm AWST) to open the hosts’ campaign.

This will be followed by the Men taking on the USA (4:14 pm), who are keen to go one better.

10:00 – WELCOME TO PERTH SVNS

We are back once again as the new look SVNS Series heads to Perth for the first event of the year.

Perth has turned on a wonderful day to kick off the long weekend of action at HBF Park, with warm but dry conditions expected throughout the week.

Home fans will have to wait to see their all-conquering Australian sides, not set to take the park until later in the afternoon.

However, there are plenty of games to excite beforehand, with Fiji v Samoa the pick of the men’s games in the earlier slot at 2:38 pm whilst expect USA v Ireland (1:32 pm) to go right down to the wire.
